About to start tweaking my carbs after installing TORS, K&N. Before I rejet I want to adjust the mixture to fix a flat spot at low RPMs. Thing is, OK, here's the SDQOTD, what way do I turn the mixture screw to richen things up?

Jenks says: "try 1/4 turn out, to enrichen mixture."

Is "out" clockwise or counterclockwise?

It's only stupid -not- to ask.

Clockwise to close (or lean-out). Counterclockwise to open (or enrichen). Works just like a faucet... just remember that it's facing down.

I've got this:

BC airbox eliminator
Supplied jets (150 and 45 I think)
Screw 3 turns out

At idle, she'll burble along nicely, then almost quit, then burble along nicely.

She pulls perfectly from very low RPM.

Is this a screw problem?
