Today after almost 20 years the Norton left the family. It had to go to finance 1005cc kit for the Thruxton. so it went for a good cause and I think also a good home as the gentleman that brought it turned up in 60s period riding gear paid the money started it in the correct fashion and roared off down the road looking like a flashback from my childhood.

That is sad, but it looks like you still have a really nice collection, don't sweat it, like you said, it went to a good home

But it was a good day for the new owner. And it'll be a good day when you bump the displacement on the Thruxton. Be sure and describe that project when you get to it.

Spyder
The Norton was a 1971 fast back with 850 combat barrels single Mikuni carb 2 into 1 exhaust and cylinder head porting.
The Thruxton mods are CNC machined barrels Forged pistons BC stage 2 heads and cams. So will be a complete engine strip down as the cases require machining to accommodate new barrels Should put out 96-98 BHP and be fun to ride
