OK, so maybe I'm an idiot. I did a search on the forums for Thruxton tires and found nothing.

I am interested in the Avon Distanzia. I like the way it looks!
Has anybody tried supermoto/dual purpose tires on the Thruxton. I'm figuring it's not a 160 HP sport bike, but don't want the tires to be less grippy than the stock metz.

What about alternative street tires that have some sort of tread?

Have a look at the Dunlop GT501's, got them on my bonnie, very happy :-D
