i purchased some dunstall shorty mega's and i know im gonna have to rejet but what else should i do? im not trying to get super fast but i only want to rejet once. can i get away with just putting some uni or k&n's on and taking out the snorkel? is that enough? do i need a bellmouth? any suggestions would be great. thanks. oh anybody sporting the shorty megas and have photos? havent seen anyone in the albums. mike

There's no need for rejetting your bike. Put off your snorkel and lift your needles with the smallest o-rings you can find. (1 mm.)Thruxtons are standard equipped with 10% bigger jets, so they always run a little bit too rich. Better you fit the Stage III kit from Mecatwin (I have two kits in stock). Your current needles (which look like daggers) are replaced by a couple of much slimmer ones. They come along with three different jets. Airfilters from K&N or just plain powerfilters. You have to remove your airfilterbox and make a batterycase where your electronics, rearbrakecylinder and fusebox can be attached to. Visit my website:
