When I ordered my bars, I simply pointed to the bars in the Flanders catalog that resembled the rise/pullback I wanted. They are referred to by Flanders as "Clubmans"........

Here's a picture of the factory Bonneville bars mounted upside down before I put the Clubmans on. They look seriously cool, but need to be mounted on the 1" risers sold by our local vendors. Otherwise they hit either the tubes or the gas tank.

And it REALLY helps that I powder coated both the bars and the risers a gloss Black. I may put them on my naked project Bonnie behind a traditional bubble 'S' style fairing.

The black, upside down bars look great Fattrat. I suspect that they'd give about the same kind of ride as would genuine clubmans.

The bars you're referring to as Clubmans don't look half bad either of course. I can't claim to know for sure whether they are or are not "Clubmans" technically, but I've always thought of Clubmans as being the hooked ones I presented in the picture.

I've always really liked the hooked Clubmans though, and would seriously consider replacing my clipons for clubmans, if I could find a relatively inexpensive way of doing so.

Are you going to power-coat your handlebar clamp as well? It would look pertty cool if you ainted the recessed logo white in there.

Yeah, gonna powder coat two of 'em I have, painting the inside Gold to match my Gold on Black trim. I think I'll leave one of them factory, and paint the inside letters Black.

Nice TBS by the way.... and have you considered yet the new 120 horsepower liteweight R1200S?

You know, there are a lot of bikes that I have considered and I'd have areally hard time deciding on the next in the stable. I've been after one of the new Nortons for the better part of seven years, but I know I'd have to sell my TBS if I did.

Luckily I don't have to make that choice yet, and I do have an Aprilia for when I want to ride really hard.
