so increasing the preload on the thrux front end stiffens the supension, decreasing it softens it, or do I have this backwards? :-x

To add confusion, more lines showing, less preload, bike is lower-- ride may or may not be softer depending on the weight of the rider. Heavy 200lb + two or no lines showing will probably be best.-T1

Curefan, are you sure ?
It seems to me that the fewer lines you can see means the adjusters are screwed in further, giving more pre-load and a harder ride.

You are, of course, correct. The more lines showing, the softer the ride (in theory.)
