It did. Yahoo. This is a pic of my new Dymag front hoop with the Avon Azaro 110/80-18 mounted.Would like to post a pic of the rear, but they [Dymag] installed a 530 sprocket and I need to get more new stuff if they don`t fix the mess up. These rims were 3 and a half months in the making.

Wow. Are you dealing with Dymag directly? Are those custom made or a new product line?

Joe, I went through HPS in the UK. I ordered them the day after Thanksgiving with a supposed 4 week build window. Medical emergencies, lost orders, bad castings and broken machines drug it out until yesterday. And then the sprocket issue. But they are here, and look good. They are Dymags oldest design. Also one of only a couple of their models with lots of rim sizes. They are totally custom made. These are 18x2.75 front,17x4.0 rear and are cast magnesium with an aluminum Talon sprocket. Overall weight saving was 5lb/f-10lb/r. with the Azaro`s mounted [150/70-17 rear]. :-D I put more pics in my album.

Coolness of cool. Was black your choice or or they do other colors? Is this power coat-black anodized or paint? Can not wait until you get the whole thing set up for follow up photographs. Steve. :-D :-D

Steve, they have a bunch of colors. I chose black. It IS paint as the heat from powder coating could mess up the magnesium.

Interesting that powder coating damages the magnesium. I work in a mechanical field where we sublet aluminum and steel for powder coating for durability/oxidation reasons. I am assuming the heat weakens the metal (magnesium). I will have to find out from my vendor what the baking temperature is for the coating process. I will have to find out what the flash point of magnesium is. Thank you for the information burnerman. Being a professional "gear head" I always like "mo" information. This is not in Mitchell or All data or the various trade publications. I have worked 1 decade as a Motorcycle "wrench"- 2 decades as a Auto "tech, and now am in the commercial field dealing with Kenworths, Case tractors, fork lifts, ECT ECT ECT.
One of the main reasons for me being on the Rat net is the vast amount of mechanical knowledge I find and can use to some extent in a modified form. I want to thank all Rat members for the valuable information they input to this forum.
Respectively yours
Steve Du Bose

Remember, old Norton's never die, they just get one more valve job and a new set of cylinder liners. :chug:

Whew, these look nice. I look forward to seeing them on the bike. Not sure I'd want wireless rims on my Thjruxton, but it's nice to know the options. Mind sharing the total cost?

Spyder,I`m guessing about the powder coat, but I`m sure the rims are "hardened" to some measure so as to be road safe.
Mancha,thanks for linking me.
My wife can`t relate to "costs" so I told her complete with tires,it was 9 mortage payments,OR,4-1/2 overtime Saturdays.
In Triumph speak, they were 1 painted Corbin Smuggler,Redbirds painted Parabellum and a Nark. :-D

15 pound loss in unsprung weight! Way to go! Why not go for 520 chain & sprocket conversion since they are getting a new rear sprocket for you anyway? That will lose at least another 1-2 pounds unsprung & rotational weght. If your chain is old consider it. You can probably get a 520 front sprocket from these guys Sprocket Specialists. Congratulations on the new wheels, they look great!
