Have purchsed some goodies to make my Thruxton bigger CNC machined barrells to take it to 1005 cc. Will send cyl head away for stage II mods and cam. Now comes the delema WHAT CARBS to use :???: Any sugestions and anybody done this All help greatfully accepted

Baldy - I myself have been sitting back and waiting for an individual such as yourself who was brave enough (and Rich enough) to spend the bucks for the items you purchased. Sounds like you got the British Custums parts - why not go with their FCR 39mm flatslides? - they will already provide the billet intakes with the stage II head work. The other options seems to be the 42mm Mikunis from Bonneville Performance. Please post some dyno results and let us know the results. Do you have to split the cases for the machine work on the 1005 cc barrels? Good luck with this project keep us posted and pics would be nice. JCW

Thrux ton up I dont know about being brave as insanity is a pre requisite for these mods. Now the carbs 42mm Mikunis are too much carby for the capacity and I tend to lean more to the 39mm FCR but had bad experience with these on a T150 Trident years back maby I just need to get over it ">
