Hi All,

I found a guy who uses a computer to control his plasma cutter, allowing some pretty well defined shapes. So I plunked down a healthy amount of money for him to make a prototype of a new heel plate for my Thruxton. What do you think:

I like it. It looks better from a standing position, where the numbers really sort of "pop" out. It still needs to be finished with either a good polishing or a powdercoating.

Just for giggles I was thinking of having one made with a Davida helmet and crossed pistons.

I got one of the heel plates polished. It really gleams. I'm not positive I like it.

KingMoham generously agreed to help me defray the sost of the prototype by buying one of the spares I had made. His Union Jack version looks great on his yellow bike:
