Took the Thruxton out on a short ride (15 miles). First ride since November other than just taking it around the block on unusually warm days to blow the cobwebs out. Got no less than three "nice bike"s, two head snaps as I went by, and one "wow , what is that" when I was filling the tank. What made it all the better is that two HD's were filling at the same gas station and the guy didn't pay any attention to them at all.

I love that. Only thing that could'a made it better is if someone had pulled up and said, "I owned one just like that back in _______". Can't tell you how many of those I've gotten.

I think the part about the Harleys is unbeatable though.
