I wear Cove Matterhorn field boots for riding. Sturdy, waterproof, lined, yet not too hot in the summer, and they're extremely comfortable off the bike too.

Of course, for a seriously cool look on the Thruxton, you could always go with a pair of 20-eye Doc Martens.
