Hi Guys,

Just thinking of new things to make for this year, I have come up with a short list. Please take a look and let me know which ones you would consider buying.

Polished Aluminium mudguards. ones that fit the stock back light and made to fit the bike properly. price around £ 140 front and £ 200 rear.fits Bonnie and Thrux

Polished alloy petrol tank styled like the original american spec Bonnie about 3 gallons. Uses all the original fittings. comes with a Monza cap around £ 450.00.fits Bonnie and t
Thrux.

Forged alloy wheels. Designed to use the original disc, sprocket carrier, spindles, spacers etc. priced around £ 1000 per pair. 17 and 18 inch and 19 inch to fit Bonnie and Thrux.

Alloy swingarm fits standard disc and wheel around £ 600 fits Bonnie and Thruxton

Regards

I like the swingarm idea, and of course a new tank would be a hit. I'm just not too into the forged wheels though and couldn't care less about mudguards.

Personally The stock shape tank is of no interest but an alloy tank shaped like a manx sprint or standard manx would get an instant order from me.

The Aloy mudguards sound fantastic, I'd buy.

Swingarm... yawn, Maybe.

Wheels, no way I'll keep the spoke wheels.

I'll second the Manx Tanks. That and a slipper clutch'd be cool. Maybe some cool "period" grips. And you know, someone posted on this forum, a very cool fairing with a bullet glass nose a while back. If you can produce that fairing, nothing else mind you, I'd have a go. I'm reluctant to put a fairing on, but that thing looked really sweet.

I would buy the alloy tank and the front fender, er... mudguard.
I would like the tank to be more than 3 gallons though, hard to get very far on that. Maybe have two sizes? Or is the Manx tank larger?

I'd also like to see more solo seat options for the Thruxton. Like a solo with storage under the hump!

How about these tanks - in polished or painted JCW

I'll put my vote in for that tank, especially the one shaped like the yellow one, which looks quite a bit like a Norton rip-off, but I love it. I believe a Japenese company is putting that out.

A problem with these tanks is that the standard seat probably will not fit with them. So if MotoTwin makes something like this available, it would be good if there were a replacement as well.

I would like to see something like one of the oldschool Dunstall fairings and kit to mount it, that would work with a varity of bar configs.

Just my 2 cents. :-D

Thrux ton up, where did that yellow tank come from? Is it available to fit a Thrux? How much, etc. etc.

Thx.
