Anyone want to trade a Jet Black Bonneville tank for a Jet Black Thruxton tank?

hey guys

i figured i would have better luck in the classifieds but i cant access that section for whatever reason.

anyway i know its a long shot, but i have a 2011 efi bonneville in jet black. i did the thruxton gel seat and had to order a jet black cowl but it came with the stripe on it, my tank is stripeless. i figure its probably easier for me to find someone to trade tanks to match the cowl vs repaint the cowl without a stripe.

so,
does anyone want to trade a thruxton efi tank for a bonneville efi tank in jet black?

thanks!

Nah, it would probably be easier for you to just paint the cowl....

It would be much cheaper and easier to order a Bonnie cowl without the stripe and then sell the immaculate Thruxton cowl.

Was someone on ebay doing the stripe stickers for $30 - $40 then clear coat, doubt you'd need to clear whole tank again just sticker.

I don't know if you can still find a plain jet black cowl with no stripe. I had a hard time almost two years ago.

The tank stripe is a decal. You can order it from bike bandit for $27.63 Just slap that on the tank and call it a day.
I have the same setup, but honestly I kind of like it with a straight black tank.

Taken from the classified rules section:

5. You must have at least 25 posts and been a member for 30 days to access this section. (no post whoring either) (This is to build up member credibility and to deter scammers).
