new BC predators and AI installed- wow!

I can't get the sh!t eatin' grin off my face. Just got back from my first ride with my new BC predators on my thruxton and it sounds awesome! I cannot seem to resist revving it at idle because it sounds so damn cool. In addition, I did the marble in the AI trick and I immediately noticed that the throttle response from idle is night and day better. The popping on decel is completely gone too.

On another note, if anyone is in the SE wisconsin area, I want to give props to Triumph of Milwaukee, aka Schlossman's Triumph, aka BMW of milwaukee. I called them up to see how much it would be to do an ECU tune for the exhaust, and it would be $45. Seems fair. I asked if I could pop down there today to get it done. They apologized that a tech would not be available but they offered to pick up and drop off my bike for free and do the tune on it. I knew they offered this service (I used the free delivery service for my 500 mile check up), but I didn't think they would offer it for a measly $45 ECU tune. The guy said it was no big deal. Talk about service! I live about 30 minutes away too! Picked up and dropped off at my door with an ECU tune for a grand total of $45!!!

Nice, I just received the BC EFI performance package for my Thruxton in the mail, sucks that I will be waiting 4-5 months before I can hit the road with the bike again. Can't wait to hear it in the spring though.

I'll pile on here as well - these pipes saved the bike for me. Having owned almost exclusively two-stroke bikes the sound of the stock pipes was killing me. It just sounded so wrong that I couldn't understand how I was going to even give it chance to grow on me. Then I put the Predators on and that was it.

I drove into a Honda dealership a few months ago and as I pulled into the parking lot, there were a group of guys that literally stopped talking and walked over to the bike to complement the sound. Predators are truly fantastic.

just got the bike back from having the arrow map put onto it. Runs nice and the sound is great. Only problem is that my ears are ringing after a 30 minute ride from the noise of the predators- and that is while wearing a full face helmet!

Ear plugs, gotta wear ear plugs. If it's not mufflers it'll be wind noise.

Yeah, the dominator tourings are easier on the ears especially at freeway speeds. Pred do sound great though.
