Yeah it was cut and welded, not the easiest thing to do had to be spot on with the tolerances between the forks.
It wasn't me you saw I was at work, I try and get down there as many Sundays as I can nice and early, you know to avoid the traffic so you get a nice run. You should try and make it, plenty of nice bikes and good blokes down there at that time.

I have a Sport Demon 110/80/18 front tyre with the stock fender, bracket and bolts. It seems as though the tyre has touched the bolts at some stage, because there is a very slight groove in my tyre on the right hand side.

I definitely had contact with my same-sized Sport Demon. I had to shorten the 4 fender mounting bolts to eliminate the contact..

Sdezz i'm not sure how a lower profile tyre (110/80/18) can make contact with the fender bolts otherwise everyone who runs the 100/90/18 which is a higher profile tyre would be having all sorts of drama, unless the fender mounting bolts are not original and are too long. Could it be possible the bolts that mount the bracket to the forks are the cause seeing as it's a wider tyre?

My apologies...I actually had the 110/90/18 installed.

See this post http://www.triumphrat.net/twins-tech...t-install.html
