Aaaaa didn't put that together. My "precision" rifle is an Accuracy Internation AWP 7.62 with Leupold Mk4 M1 10x MilDot. Actually got one of the first 5 that were imported to this country by Gunsite back in...?... 91.

Seeing you just bought the bike I'd do "non-expensive" mods first.

AI Removal
Horn Relocation to under tank (where AI was)
Snorkel Removal*
K&N Air Filter*
Muffler Upgrade*
FEK

* - Do these at the same time then RE-MAP.

Then ride it like you stole it till you figure out what you want to mod next.

First, congratulations!

I have to ask; do your front turn signals droop any? I didn't get to watch mine being unpacked, but it and every other Triumph twin on the showroom floor had droopy front signals and I've seen the same thing at almost every dealer visited & assumed the shipping hold-down straps caused the bend. But, looking at yours still strapped down - it appears that wouldn't be the cause. Now I'm wondering if during dealer prep they don't use tie down straps to keep the bike vertical on the bench & run them over the front signals?

Jim

Congrats! Bike looks great! Do the 2013 models still have the metallic "phantom" black? Wish they would go back to the deep "jet" black.

Just your general warning...this thread is totally ok right now as long as we don't go down the morality road when it comes to firearms. If we go down that road I'll have to close it. Carry on....

I wish I could answer that, but I walked away after the plastic came off. I show no signs of droop now.

You nailed it man. I was a bit thrown off when the tank cover came off and I saw the flake. ***! I thought it would be solid, deep-black. Boy was I wrong. Maybe after a year of riding it, I'll have it painted solid black. I notice the stripe on the tank is Grey and not Gold.

Very interesting, I just ordered the AI elimination kit from British Customs so I'll be doing exactly that. Thanks for the tip. Second time today I found a great idea for cleaning up the front end without spending big cash.
