No, you are not the only one. Although I sort of prefer a little closer to a straw or gold color. But if it's got some blue, well that's sort of the way it's supposed to be.

Art.

I don't mind it either, but this chemist/motorcycle enthusiest I work with keeps telling me (in his auzzie accent) "Ah, yer runnin' way lean. An that colour shows the chrome turning to chromium oxide, which will flake off over time." I'm not a chemist (thank god), and have no comeback for this. I deleted the AI mainly to shut him up.

I'm fine with the bluing too. The bike looks like I ride it.

Kill it with fire! And if not in Cali, pull all the junk off the bike too. Easy enough and cleans up the bike and pulls a little weight off too which is never a bad thing.

removing the AI won't stop the bluing, only a double walled header will. removing the AI will however, stip the backfiring that you will get with your TORS and AI on. You will need to use an aftermarket map editor to disable the AI after you remove it otherwise you will get a check engine light on your dash.

No check engine light for me! No re-map needed. I followed the instructions in this thread:
http://www.triumphrat.net/twins-tech...nny-thrux.html

Basically, you wire a 50-Ohm resistor where the solenoid was. The computer can't tell the difference.
