Hope everyone was able to make it through Sandy safely. I brought my bike down to the shore last week as I do every year for winter storage in Brigantine, NJ. Talk about bad timing with Sandy.
We are not permitted to enter the island yet but needless to say, I'm bracing myself for the worst with the salt water/flooding and the bike in the garage.
Phew. We had about a foot of water in the garage but everything seems to be in working order. The exhaust and wheels had surface rust but I gave everything a thorough wash down and it looks to be fine.

Thank you for asking. Our house is fine. Only minor wind damage to the back fence and some water damage in the garage. After driving around the rest of Brigantine I have to say that many people were not as fortunate and have several feet of sand and water that entered their homes. Other shore points including LBI were also hit hard. Hoping everyone made it through safely and the rebuilding process can begin.
Got em on....they look and sound awesome!!! Maybde a hair too loud when hard on the throttle but nothing too harsh. The arrow 2-2 tune seems to be fine...bike runs strong and no popping or backfiring. No exhaust leaks that i can find. Bike idles right at 1k.
Anything i should look for to make sure its running as it should?
Looking great! As long as it idles at 1K and you don't have any backfiring issues I think the only thing you've got to worry about it pot holes! Hope you enjoy the new pipes!
