I have great timing..about 20 mins after my post, I got a notification from PayPal that the order shipped..
Now just waiting on the airbox/AI removal kits from BC and I'll be in good shape.
The great thing about living in AZ is that the riding season is only just beginning here...

A little update on the Lossa Cones...put them on over the weekend. While they have a great tone, they are definitely LOUD. In regards to installation, I did have to cut 4 notches to get them to clamp on to the headers. (pic)
I will make a quick video tonight for anyone interested in hearing how they souind.

Thanks for turning me onto this read, Bill! The photoshopped TT looks very promising. Bet I chicken out and just get some Stubbies

These DimeCity exhausts may be okay, too:

They look better for ground clearance, and they come with mounting brackets. Not sure how they'd sound or perform though...

As to cutting off the cross over. Got a friend that has a 06 Bonnie with a lot of engine work done. He has been into Triumphs since the 60s. He said there isn't a problem with cutting the cross over. He is running crossoverless on his.

Cool! I'll have a chat to the local exhaust dudes here, and see what they say, too.

I love the stubby look very much, which is why I'll keep them but, the reverse cones sound amazing, nonstop compliments.

i'm thinking about getting some of those angle transistions that silencer guys use to get the exhaust shooting straight back instead of that angle we have of the headers.

Like these?

I was thinking the same and searching the forums in hopes of finding a picture of a completed project.
It's purely cosmetic, but how does it look with the polished headers transitioning into the brushed/satin finish of the Lossa cones?
EDIT: Just realized that you have black headers... are those D&D's? What headers are you using WindTherapy?

no black headers. I have fiber wrapped stock headers. I wrapped them with Heatshield Products lava wrap. Worked great and i love it with it done. The color transition didn't bother me at all.
Just like those transitions actually. i wonder how it would look and work
Back to the reverse cones...FWIW, i really like the RC look better thank the stubbies, but i like that the stubbies are different, and i love how they sound. then again i haven't heard the RC in person to compare.
