So far its just a triumph factory A/F balance. Once i get my Air Box delete done it'll be TTP Tune that matches with my pipes and other mods. But i have to get there first. It's my next major project

I'm re thinking my paint ideas. i'm getting prep'd and planned out for my paint this fall. Here are my thoughts. Please keep in mind that i already have a Gold chain and Gold levers are on the way, so the paint chosen needs to go with Gold well. In addition to that i have a brown seat.

Hope you enjoy the samples. Sorry they're not all pics of bikes.

Purple (slight Abalone Effect)

Non Abalone style Purple. (i love love love this bike BTW. It's Gorgeous IMO. )

Purple with Gold metal flake (i'm not usually a huge metal flake fan, but this is growing on me)

Matte Black

Deep Dark Jet Black

Matte Gray (with black and gold striping and accents)

Leguna Seca Blue (not sure how this would go with gold, but one of my all time favorites)

Other ideas? I'm just not sure what else will go well.

I think the Matte Grey would look great with the gold accents.

I think it looks pretty badass as is tho.

I just can't stand Black with Gold metal flake. and the "gold" stripe is more metalic tan than gold. Kinda bugs me a little. It's also off center, which for some one with mild OCD is completely annoying.

I would go 2012 Fiat Latte for the color and either a black or a brown that matches your seat for your stripes. That being said black, brown and gold go well with blue too. The Laguna color is dang nice too.

gosh, i really like the Gulf scheme. I like the idea of leaving out the orange and just doing the leguna seca. That might go nice with the brown and gold.

Is this what you were refering to?

At this point, i'm really leaning to that super gloss Jet black like the BMW. I'm jsut not sure yet.

The purple I think would get old fast, JMO. I really like the matte grey because you can do any accent color you want.
For sure do not do the matte black as that's what I have done and I don't want to hate you.

But that was my plan from day one was flat or matte black, with Gloss accents and Gold striping. However i saw a Flat black one with no accents and i'm not sure i liked it as much as i thought i would. Thats kinda where the debat is coming from.

My brother's thruxton is silver. Triumph silver mind you, with the red stripe.

i'm anxious to see how yours turned out. I've always liked your bike. Did you put badges back ok it? Stock, or the small one you had on the blue?

I'm going to head over to a local shop. Roseville Rod and Custom. I'll get their oppinion on paint and get a quote. I'm hoping its not too expensive. Maybe i can get it done this spring rather than Next winter.
