MAS fit fine. You have to persuade them a little but that is to be expected with aftermarket parts.

I've got a 3 piece set of plastic dirtbike ones coming from one of the ebay sellers to use for my first track day next weekend. I just wanted something cheap and easy to replace my painted side covers and headlight. I'm pretty much planning on a zip-tie mounting job. I'll probably post up some pictures once I get them mounted. If you're interested, I can shoot you a PM when they're up.

Definitely.

Thanks for the photos and your input guys, I'll probably end up waiting until I'm back in the States to make a decision. There are sooo many options to choose from it's almost impossible to decide.

I also made my own with some 1" flat stock aluminum from Loews. Total cost $25

sorry to dig up an old thread... but for those of you who have made your own side covers in this fashion...

can I see pictures of how you mounted them? going to do the same soon, just looking for a plan of action.

Thanks!
