Yep, nice colour, looking forward to seeing one in person. I must agree agree with others, however. Black is, indeed, the fastest colour.
By the way, I've noticed that the front hub of the '13 Thruxtons is painted, like the rear hub, as opposed to the polished aluminum of prior years.

I think you are correct about the black...that is why my Speed Triple is black.

I've giving it some thought--perhaps this will be a winter project. I'm going to let the dust settle a bit and see how I feel in a few months time.

What is all this rubbish about black being the fastest. Everyone -- even the police know that "Arrest Me Red" is the fastest !!!

Which colors have the painted hub? The green looks like an aluminum hub? Or do you mean it's painted silver?

I've not seen a green Thruxton yet, but here's what I noticed on a 2013 black:

Finally, down on the engine case, the clutch lever or arm is black as well as the adjuster bracket; on prior years, these parts were silver.

Very nice bike! When I first heard about Triumph making the thruxton in Brookland Green, I was a little worried. This may be my favorite thrux color now - besides black of course...
Well done!
