Has anyone done any research as to which of these bars works better on the Thruxton? Heli says their bars "raised 4 3/4" from the stock position.
I am probably more interested in getting them up higher but I'm sure there are other concerns.
thanks

Depends on how high you want/need them. I know the good Dr. English loves his Heli-bars, Thrux-ton-up has the adjustable Tomaselli set, and I have been looking at the LSL clip ons (raise up approx. 2"). Other options include handlebar kits to convert to standard type bars (flat, ace/cafe, slight rise etc.). Check out some of the vendor sites such as newthruxton.com, bellacorsa.com and mototwin.com for options.

Yes, the Heli-bars are very comfortable and really well made. No personal experience of Tomasellis here, though folks like them. The Tomasellis can be bought for less than Heli-bars.

I'd part with my Tomasellis for $125, bought for $250 from Thunderbike.

I thought the Tomasellis were less costly. Helibars are the same price new.

The Heli-Bars were a straight swap. Tight but still there was virtually no mods to the bike. They really do make long rides bearable. They work as advertised and you don't have to worry about trying to make things fit.

I have looked around the net, but have yet to find a Tomaselli dealer. Anyone know who to contact?
Thanks, Steve.

This mob Cosmoto used to have them on their website for US$150, now listed on Cosmoto's ebay store for US$90!!
Bought mine from this mob(type in tommaselli) for US$100 a year ago!
How does Thunderbike justify charging US$280 plus shipping??? Got me farked???

Cheers...........Agro

G'day Ricky,
Could you please post what came in the Thunderbike kit besides the clip-ons.

Were there any modification to the clip-ons done by Thunderbike to make them fit the Thruxtion?

Finally why are you selling them?

I can measure my clip-ons to see if there is any difference to the Thunderbike items you have.

Cheers..............Agro
