Installing the BC Lucas LED FEK kit...

So, my wifey dearest got me this as a gift for v-day - bless her heart. Interestingly, no instructions. Check their site, nothing there either. I got a ton of allen bolts of differing lengths - 2 short, 2 medium and 2 long with locking nuts and washers galore.

Is this easy to install and am I overthinking it? I am pretty anal and like to do it right...

Can someone give me a quick rundown of how to do this?

Thinking about it...
- Remove side covers
- Remove seat
-unhook battery
-unhook taillights and turn signals from harness

- Install the turn signal relocation kit on rear shocks (no instructions with these either - Am I to just remove the upper bolt completely - will the shock expand if I do so?

- Remove stock fender and install new pieces....

How do the 2 metal pieces line up in kit?
Do I have to re-use any other bolts from stock fender?
Which of the bolts they provided go where?
Have they provided license plate bolts with this kit?
Do I need to use any loctite?

I will make a DIY for the board so others don't have to figure this out. Sure would be nice of BC to provide this? Really shocked it was not provided.

I searched here and didn't find anything. Any advice appreciated folks!

Here you go...

My wife gave me the same thing for Christmas but I haven't had a chance to put mine on yet. Let me know how it goes and if there is any thing I need to look out for. I also got 4 blinkers, the mounting hardware and the sub-harness for the front blinkers..

what do they mean "LED's require a load equalizer"? I installed LED directionals, I didn't add anything but they work fine. What can happen?

I will for sure make a DIY for the forum. I planned to do it today, but I am waiting on the OEM factory service manual I ordered from ebay to help me work thru the install which is not here yet.

I have a few small pieces to put on - Front and rear turn bullet signals, seat cowl screws, side panel screws, low profile seat screws, ignition relocation kit, tank pads etc. I am waiting on a few pieces from british-customs - I might as well do it all at one time.

I will keep you updated here or via PM.

So, I got my ebay manual for the EFI triumph thruxton. It's very impressive for the price. I like it a lot better than the haynes manual.
