Does anyone have any experience with the Thruxton's optional Tour Seat? I need to comfortably carry a passenger from time to time on overnighters - say 800 miles round trip - and want to know if the Thruxton can be comfortable for two up rides.

Is that the same thing as the Thruxton Gel seat? If so, I have one on my Bonnie. It looks great. after 20mi the gel gets warm and provides minimal comfort. The pillion portion is tapered toward the back, which looks great, but is only suitable for a small passenger for a short time. If your talking about the Triumph K&Q,I have one of those too. It looks big and clumsy, but is comfortable for two people to ride on for hours a day.[not too many hours in a row though]I haven`t tried any other brand of seats yet.

I've got the Corbin king & queen on my Thrux, my pgr says it's very comfortable for two-up rides, and for me it's all-day comfortable. Takes about 2,000 mi to break in, though. Pgr doesn't like the pgr pegs, however, since she's knocking into my feet often. Mototwin makes accessory pgr footpegs that move them back to a more comfortable position.

T1,I ordered a Corbin "vintage gunfighter" after seeing the one on Buggy`s early cafe bike. I`m sure it will take extensive modding to fit a "new Bonnie" but it appears to be both shorter and narrower than the "new Bonnie " version. I`m also going to hollow out the tail section and install a stealth fiberglass compartment ala smuggler. Ordered it almost 2 weeks ago and in typical Corbin fashion, not a word or e-mail response to several inquiries.Since that is what I`ve expected,I`m still happy. :-D

King and queen on a Thruxie? Heck, why not go all the way and get a Russell?

If you don't know, never mind. If you do, you know what I'm talking about.
