Can't ride with current flat so forced to spend time surfing web and thinking 'bout riding. I went on over to NewThruxton and was looking at those Shark pipes again. They are a little weird, but they have grown on me...not that I have any rational reason to acquire them.

Has anyone else warmed up to the Sharks? I didn't like them at first, but that's typical. I usually hate new stuff on sight...

BTW, who has heard them? They look like they would sound EVIL!!!

I kind of like the pipes as well, but you'll probably be horrified to hear that if I ever got them, the cool matching belly pan would probably follow.

I have always loves those pipes. I remember a post a while back where someone posted some pictures, and everyone commenced the hating on their looks and whining about the possible heat on the legs.

I don't find them weird at all, they are a cool looking pipe that accentuates the Thruxton's racing heritage.

Have not heard them in person, but someone who had them posted a sound clip. It is a few pages back in the posts I am sure.

Pipes and the belly pan combo - hard to beat for the cafe racer look!! I'd like to have both. I've never seen the material for the pipes - but for the price I would hope they are stainless. I do know they come with removeable baffles allowing you to go from streetable to evil race mode. The belly pan is really cool and gives a nice finished touch to the bike I think. JCW

I like them a lot, but the combination af the price plus the postage out here plus the import duty the Australian Govt. will add on has held me back so far.
I also like the Red belly pan, does anyone have a link for where I could get one?

Cheers, Moff

Looks have nothing to do with it..

It's to reduce the possibility of oil dripping onto the track during a race which would obviously create a very dangerous situation for the racers.

I don't think you could fit one on the bike with the standard pipes.

Hi guys,

I'm really keen to get hold of a belly pan too. If anyone has one for sale I'd be interested.
