Is the '12 Thruxton released? There is nothing on the website yet, and my searches have turned up little, yet a few have mentioned getting one already? Just curious. Are the colors the same as the 11's? That will be the bike I buy in the spring. Thanks!

They're definitely in production as myself and at least one other poster on here own one. During my search for one I was unable to find any information on them either and it seemed all the 2011's had been sold. I figure the reason I was able to get a 2012 so early on (08/05/2011) is because the dealer I purchased it at just got their Triumph license 6 weeks prior. Any other dealerships I talked to couldn't provide me any solid dates when they'd be able to get one.

What did you guys pay for yours, if you don’t mind me asking.

I’m in negotiations with my local dealer for a black ’12 Thrux and can’t decide if I should pull the trigger (even though I want to).

The deal worked out to $8500 (after $1500 trade in) out the door including the fly screen, knee pads, freight/crate, tax/tags.
I was hoping for $8k ($7800 actually), but they are holding out.
I also figured, being near winter, they would deal a little more.
Should I hold out for them, or am I getting a good deal?

I called another dealer a bit further away and he would not match it saying Thruxton’s were tough to come by and he’ll just hold out for MSRP as long as it takes. Seems silly to me being I’m ready to buy, but that’s that shop’s position.

Thanks
Andy

Mate...the two options I was given were the red and the black. As for dosh, I would bet you the dealership will hold out. Up here, they have no worries flogging any of the Thruxs' that they have access to.
Its bloody killing me as I have a 2012 to pick up in April...please everyone, post more pics....you would help a poor gent out wouldn't you????

Mdot I wouldn't say that's a "good" deal but it seems like a fair deal. From my experience the Thruxton was a hard bike to get my hands on. When my local dealer was finally able to get one for me, I didn't hesitate on pulling the trigger. I ended up paying MSRP and taking a $500 credit for accessories. The other option was $100 off MSRP. The first option seemed like the logical choice. If you're itching to get the bike, I'd go ahead and take the deal. Otherwise you'll probably end up regretting it.

Thanks for the feedback guys!
It actually worked out well for me! I offered less, he crucnched the numbers and we met in the middle! :)
I rode off the lot yesterday! ($200 off MSRP, and and other $100 on my trade in, but after tax and all, it came out another $50 lower, so from the first quote of 8500 out the door to $8150!).
So I'm now the proud owner of a 2012 Thruxton :-D
Oh! now where to spend the savings?! LOL

I called 16 dealers within 300 miles of my home in NY. Only 1 dealer had the red and EVERY dealer wanted MSRP plus $800 in destination, dealer set up, and $100 for the DMV.

I played hard ball....offered him an all cash deal and snagged it for $8,699 plus tax out the door.

Dealer was 2 hours away.

Just dropped $400 at British Customs :0)
