I gotta ask,
and who better to ask than guys in the classic/café forum....?

I have been invited to ride-with, consider joining, "prospect", or outright "patch up" with a single patch, two patch, and even a three patch group-o-guys.

- Ain't happening, no way. -

However, I find myself fascinated with the likes of the British Iron Rebels NON-club. Sure, I can dig Reverend Horton Heat and Rockabilly music (I do world beat, jazz, and classical music though), and I actually DO roll my jean cuffs up (I'm a short mo fo).

I just wanna hang out where other bikes like the BonnieBlack hang; I wanna ride with "snort'n Nortons", BSA's, and other Black Leather Jacket wearing traditionalists.

Any feedback, opinions, alerts, ANYTHING? Or where I can go to see other bikes like timeless Bonnie'?

I know some of the BIR's here in SoCal, they are more or less an internet group. Sign up for a delphia account and get permission to their forum. You can check them out and see if there the type that you would want to ride with, and they can check you out and see if you are the type they want to ride with.

All in all the ones I have met, and the one I do know are swell chaps.

That's an excellent start. I really dig the vibe of the BIR. I only have two other members here near Detroit, but both guys are great fellows. The club is a riding club. We meet in local groups are ride somewhere. I've got one coming up this weekend. New bikes or old, it doesn't really matter as long as it's British and in the classic Rocker/cafe racer styling mode. And a attitude to match.

DWEEB..?!?!

As found in The American Heritage Dictionary online:

NOUN: Slang, A person regarded as socially inept or foolish, often on account of being overly studious.

Please don't tell us you want to be the poster boy for all Triumph riders with a plate like that..!!!
:knkknk:
