Hi,
I've been lurking here for a while and just joined, thought I'd say hello.
My Thruxton is an '04 in red with Triumph's aftermarket pipes and a couple of other bits, I'll post a pic when I figure out how.

The Thruxton is such a lovely bike to ride. I can't understand why I don't see more on the road but on the other hand it's nice to have a bike that's a bit rare.

What I really want to do is learn how to work on it, mechanically I'm a bit clueless but I intend on keeping this bike for a long time and would love to work on it and modify it myself.

Cheers,
John

First model is always the most desirable, and if I'm not mistaken red was only available in 04.
Look after it....you got a nice investment.

Start working on the simple things and go further as you gain confidence. Buy a shop manual and study it. The thrux is the kind of bike that you get involved with.-good luck-T1

Shop manual would be nice. Basic work on the Thruxton is really easy 'cos it's a simple bike and everything is out in the open.

We love our Thruxtons...
