Alright I seem to have a problem, and want some advice.

2005 Thruxton with about 1600 miles on the clock. After the first service I noticed a spot of oil on the floor, seemed to be weeping from the oil filter.

Took it to the dealer, they tightened the filter, cleaned it up, and it was fine for three days.

Then it started doing it again, but almost worse.

Dealer replaced the filter yesterday, cleaned it up again, but now after about a 20 mile ride today, it seems even worse than before. Spent about 15 minutes laying under the bike to see if I could find a problem.

It seems like it is potentially coming from the bottom right hand side near the back of the bike. Almost like it is coming out one of those bolts on the bottom of the motor.

Any ideas?

Update time,

Well this morning the bike was cool and I took a look again. It seemed to have a drop of oil collected on the inside bottom cover on the right hand side. I got out a socket and it was able to be tightened, so I tightened it. Have not been able to ride it since then, but maybe this will take care of the problem.

As a side bar, anyone know the torque specs on these bolts.

If you're referring to the alternator cover, the torque is 9NM.
