How many miles on that Thrux, and what led to your diggin into the top end. Was it time for the valve adjustment already ?

Keep us up to date on the results, please ?

Hey CYNCRZR,

For background, check out Katanaman's post back a few days titled Valve adjustment headaches.

hey all, the shop says i ride to hard!!!! and they also say "it's not a jap bike you know" this is really cool from the same people who literaly beg you to come along to ride and race days! on top of all this they started out saying the noise was normal. untill i went on down with the only other thruxton in town! oh yeh it doeas have a loud clicking/ticking noise... nice from the guys who did the first adjustment imediatly prior to the noise starting.. and guess what? they don't know what it is yet... pretty typical i suppose, blame the owner. i have spoken to triumph about this and i can tell you they are pretty pissed of by the insinuation that there product is less robust than a jap bike.
