I'm seriously looking at the Thunderbike 2into1s for my 04 Thrux.

Has anyone fitted these?

On the site they say that no jetting is required. I've mailed them about this but would like to hear from a first hand source other than the seller. It seems to me that if they don't need rejetting then they aren't delivering more power. I'm OK with this cause they will look awesome and that's worth it by itself

I contacted Thunderbikes about these pipes a while ago, and had them send my the dyno runs. While the top end was up (to about where the D&D's and Thunderbikes 2 into 2 pipes are) there was a HUGE hole in the midrange. I wasn't certin if it could be fixed with re-jetting or not, so I didn't get the pipes.

I have 2:1 Thunderbike exhaust and I did not rejet. Easy installation and man do they look and sound sexy. I cannot speak to dyno numbers, but I have not noticed any power loss. E

I'm gonna fess up right now. I'm buying the 2 into 1s primarily cause they look good. Thunderbike are putting a black ceramic finish rather than the chrome. I mocked up a set in Photoshop and pasted it onto a photo of my bike and it looked sensational.

The video from Thunderbikes souded great. Should wake up the hippies around Nimbin.

I looked at the dyno figures and the hole is there but I can't see it really affecting me. Gone are my days of ACTUALLY cafe racing. I'm pretty much content to look the part and get around at a reasonable clip.

Sweet! When you get the pipes, try re-jetting and see if you can get rid of that hole. Keep us posted
