I just put a set of TOR's on my Thruxton last night. Not raspy-tinny loud but a deep throaty sound, I think it sounds perfect. I'm going to get the jetting dialed in next week to take full advantage of the improved flow, but boy! what a difference in just having it sound like a Triumph should, nice and crisp.

Should not take much jet increase. 115-120 mains, idle air screw (D shaped screw on bottom of carbs) out to 3-3.5 turns.-good luck T1

I'm afraid I wouldn't know where to start, I don't even have a camera. All I can say is the TOR's sound REALLY good. A good throaty bark, without being offensive. On NewBonneville.com there's a sound clip of the Staintune's...I would say the TOR's sound very similar to that.

Probably the same metrics as Screamin' Eagle pipes on an HD, IE. louder and deeper than stock, but not like Drag pipes or thunder pipes... I think they sound great.

Funny you should ask about a sound clip of TORs -- I just posted one.

Thread from Twin Talk forum

Granted, these are Bonneville TORs, not Thruxton TORs, but the clip should still give you the basic idea.

I personally don't like mine. They aren't loud enough. Sometimes they are quite and sometime throaty. Not sure why this but I would like them to be consistently louder, so my winter project will be new exhaust and powder coat the rims.
