Wadda ya want first, the good news or the bad ?
The good news is:
They stick! I still really love the performance of these tires. Especially the front ! The front is the most confidence inspiring piece of rubber I've ever abused! And I'm pretty hard on front tires.
The bad news is:
@2500 miles (with next to none on the freeway) I've encountered the wear bars on the rear tire. I'll probably get another 500 miles out of it.
I'm kinda disapointed. With only 68 hp, I expected to wear out the front first. I wore out the front Metz @ 5000 miles & could have put another 1,000 on the rear.
So I'm thinking I'll replace the rear with another Metz, if I can find one. I actually like the rear Metz, although I wasn't in love with the Lazer on the front.
Oh well, it's only money!
Cheers y'all, Cyn-

Glad the pirelli's were fun. Sad the mileage sucked. www.swmototires.com carries the Metzelers Z2 at a decent price and quick delivery(no shipping if you buy 2). They don't show the Z2 on thier list but they told me they do sell it. So far I like the Lazer-Z2 combo if tire pressure is correctly maintained. Will say hello to Uncle Phil if I see him.

Looking at the website, looks like the Z2 are nt being made anymore (but that could vary from market to market, they do have these in both standard and "bigger" sizes - Z4
and the lasertec in both front and rear sizes

swapped mine out @ ~ 3000 miles. SF is probably too far to ride but it's free if you want it?

Actually it's kind of ironic but Metzelers are just Pirellis at a cheaper price (Pirelli Group bought them out back in the 80's).

Dialysis -
If you'd consider shipping UPS, I'll send you the cost, plus the price of a case for your trouble. PM me and let me know. There's probably 3k left on that thing, and I'll happily use it up.
Thanks, Mate!
