Pipes look great but yeah, you should get a remap or maybe a powercommander.

I'm definitely going to get it remapped but anyone know if a air box removal kit is necessary? What are the advantages of getting a air bo removal kit? I was thinking about just getting new K&N filters. Sorry for the noob questions.

its not neccessary-but if you get a power commander you can do any kind of airbox and exhaust mod you want-the more air flow the more power-don't just download a map-get it dynoed after you do all your final mods to airbox or filters and you will have perfect fueling

would it be bad to ride the bike like it is not tuned to the shop 30 minutes away?

should be ok to ride to shop-the pipe will lean fueling out,but 30 miles shouldn't hurt it

Hello ristb
I have recently installed the TOR mufflers on my 2010(EFI). I am very pleased with the sound level and stock look . BUT...... These thing "back fire" on decel very loud. They seem to be the worst at lower RPM's and slower speeds. In traffic, I have actually startled people in cars. (sounds like gun fire). Did the remap take care of this problem for your bike?

I had a similar problem when I installed my specialty spares TT pipes on my 2010 Thrux. I paid the dealer $100 to up load the Arrow 2-2 map onto my ECM. Worked like a charm... I'm sure a custom map would be more efficient. By it was a quick way to get me close and no more pop on decel.

The remapping cost me 40 bucks and it worked like a charm. No popping or anything. Unfortunately I have to get rid of the system since I lowered the bike and now I'm afraid that the pipes will scrape. Going back to stock with hopefully once the d&d's are sold, I will get some after market cans. If anyone interested in this d&d setup I have it up for sale or willing to trade for another sytstem or cans.

Hey, what remap did everyone use for their 2 into 1 D&Ds? Did a forum search and this was the last topic that anyone has spoke of them.
