I recently bought a Belstaff Trialmaster Excelsior cordura jacket from BritishMotocycleGear.com. This thing is very cool. Styled after the very classic Trialmaster jacket which is made of waxed cotton. I had a lengthy discussion with the owner of the website mentioned above and apparently the Italian fashion world has taken over the Belstaff name and the rights to produce goods under that label. This means in the very near future, if you want a Belstaff you'll be paying up to $1,000 for a jacket (no kidding) and buying at a Barney's, Prada or some other high fashion store. He told me Europeans are going nuts for the new Prada versions of the jackets which no longer are even true motorcycle jackets!!!! They are appearing on movie stars (War of the Worlds - Tom Cruise & The Aviator - Leonardo DiCaprio) and are all the rage. Anyway, if you like the Trialmaster Excelsior, they only have 19 copies left in stock. I got the last XL. See the website. Best regards.

Yep . . they gave me the same story when I saw them at Americade. The jacket is becoming fashionable, etc etc, and will soon cost a small fortune. I love the look for a classic bike like the Bonne, too. Enjoy.

That first chick (or bird to the Brits-I'm from across the pond) can ride me any time she wants.
Please don't tell my wife about this. I taught her how to shoot. Oops.

That guy has been saying that Belstaff is about to go out of business, and these are the last jackets he has, for 3 years now at Daytona.... bunch of BS if you ask me.

Is that so! Well, I guess he got to me for the price of a jacket. Oh well, you may be right.

Actually I'd heard the same story for year or so, but had only see it mentioned in the press more recently. It seems like he is telling the truth, but who knows, and now that I broke down and bought one, I'm not sure I really care anymore!
