thanks for the help thruxton-ton-up. Called trick tape and they measured at 1". the crg's are for 7/8"and will not fit greater than that diameter. Would have to have a machine sho graind 1/8 off. What brand mirrors are yours.

Unless you use the method described above - stack of 7/8 washers (or a spacer) between the bar end and the bars. It effectively gives you a 7/8 area to clamp them to

Installed mine yesterday. Don't waste your money on the adapters, not that they aren't quality pieces, but you don't need them. The washer tip is the best I've heard. If I were doing it over again that what I'd do. They're dirt cheap and readily available.

On a side note, these mirrors rock! I can't believe the improvement in rearward visibility, not to mention how nice they make the bike look. To those who have them, which direction did you mount the arm? Up, down, forward, or back? I have mine pointing up but I'm curious what other have done and why.

Glad you are happy with the installation. What model crg did you get?

I got the ls model as I have a narrow alley I have to get through. Ordered them from New Bonneville. Took about 10 days to get 'cause they were temporarily out of stock. Came with 2 free breath mints! I know my sh*t stinks but I didn't think they could smell it in Texas

FYI - I ordered the Rizoma bar-ends back in June and Trick Tape has stated they are back ordered with limited delivery due to demand and production to states. I am going to give it a couple of more weeks and then go to the CRGs.

Also checked other Rizoma dealers and have found the same condition/issue.

dh - they are rizoma "reverse" mirrors - but apparently extremely hard to come by these days. seems Italy closes down part of the year and can't produce enough for demand. But if you could find them they will fit 1" bars. JCW
