Bafflectomy
Well, a couple of days ago I decided to do the bafflectomy. It turned out OK. I didn't have access to a hole saw so I used a sawsall with decent results (first try was a disaster) second pipe was also a disaster resulting in a clean cut but the chrome peeled away. Needless to say the bike has a little bit more pep, and a nice deep rumble. The internal baffle welds were pretty easy to break with a large punch and then it required some coaxing to get them out.
All in all it was an enjoyable project that resulted in some ruined pipes but they will do until I get a real set of pipes for the bike.
