Is it all hot air or something of substance
Hi guy's it's getting all wet and cold over here in UK, so I was looking at this drier. I guess theres a lot of them in use in USA so I am looking for some advice on how good they are, do they actually blow the water away or just waft a warm breeze over it. I know they won't be worth the £200 ($320) but do they do a good job. A cloth is cheaper but a lot harder to use.

Get a leaf blower, it's cheaper.
In the past I've used a leaf blower on my car and it comes out shining beautifully.

hey captain,
this thing seems a bit pricey for what it can do.
the only difference i see is "Blows warm, dry, clean, filtered air", is this necessary? perhaps the light weight and portability of it, but are you washing/detailing on the road? "interchangeable attachments" are useless for blowing. plus all the other bullet points reminds me of a crappy info-commercial listing the obvious/exaggerated.
just get a leaf blower for a fraction of the price, it'll be more powerful than this. or if you really want the hot air, buy a commercial grade hair dryer from a hair salon supplier. also, some shop vacs will have a reverse setting you can use as blower. but honestly, if you have the space, one of the best things i've bought was an air compressor. you can get all sorts of sizes/prices and a million different attachments/tools. they are a great multitasker, i use it all over my home/shop/garage.
hope that helps...

Seems like a whole lot of money for what is essentially the same thing you'd use to pump up an air mattress.... air mattress pumps go for $20.00 US...

Just be sure it’s an electric leaf blower, not gasoline powered. Many of the gas powered ones exhaust out the discharge and you get unwanted “stuff” on your nice clean bike. Sounds obvious but some of us aren’t all that bright.

Looks like my blower is in for some "extra curricular" work then.
Thanks guys,
I would still like to hear from someone who has used one just in case it's something that I just can't go on living without

Nearly 200 Quid for a Shop-Vac motor/impeller packaged in a tube. You'd be better off just buying the Shop-Vac and getting other use out of it.
At that price, you're well on your way to a compact air compressor, and compressed air is one of those shop things out with which I could not live.
If you already have a leaf blower, you're already there, they work well.
Best,
Redhawk

I own one of these http://www.amazon.com/Cycle-Motorcyc.../dp/B001MA31GW
It's a handy tool for $40. I find it much easier to use than my leaf blower, and the small, rubber nozzle fits the nooks and crannies on the bike much better. I still wipe with a clean dry towel at the end of each wash, though.
