Hi
I recently came across this beauty on the back of a truck.
I did not have enough time to talk to the owner (late for a soccer game!) I was curious if anyone knew more about this lovely bike?

Not an expert on Vincents but I think it is a Rapide but it could be a Shadow (the sports version) and either a "B" or "C" series. A "C" series would be my guess. The registration plates are UK.

It's a shame that bike probably never even gets ridden. "Show bikes" make me sad.

My guess is a Series C Rapide. Unsure of what year without engine/frame numbers.
Without a black engine and oversized speedo, it is not a black shadow.
The engine is mounted as a stressed member to the frame, has a small headlight, and it has "The Vincent" on the tank, all of which make it a series C.
The seat makes it a touring model, so it should be a Rapide.
And the fact that it's sitting in the back of a truck in some parking lot makes it NOT a White Shadow.
