So I've got around 360 miles on my '10 Thrux. I walked up to my bike in the parking garage after work yesterday and I noticed a patch of oil on the ground under my bike about the size of a small saucer. I saw the bolt that blocks the drain had some oil around it and a small drop was welling up and about to drip.

I rode the bike home and looked at where I normally park it in the carport. No leak spots. I placed a piece of cardboard under it and there was no oil spot this morning. Nor did I see any oil collecting around that bolt. Is this normal? Any explanation as to why this would be an intermittent issue?

From my point of view, just dump the oil out and change the filter and make sure the drain is properly secure. After 360 miles on a new motor it is due. If it is still a problem visit the dealer.

...or...it could be someone dicking with you...I do it to guy I work with all the time...
