Anyone with Axljak sliders install a damper on their bike? I was wondering if either a Norman Hyde or LSL damper will fit on the bike with Axljak sliders on it. I have fork gaiters and wanted to mount the damper to the top, right underneath the lower triple. The damper on the Axljak site looks like it mounts in the middle of the fork tube.

Looking at it I don't think the NH will fit, but they offer one on their site that is made to work with their sliders...

Yea problem with that is that the damper fits in the middle of the fork leg. I wanted it mounted higher so I can still use my fork gaiters.

By the way, how many of you use sliders anyways? My Yamaha had one before but its surprising the sliders for the Thrux is like 150 bucks.

Ahhh you might have to fab something up then. I've got a NH on my bike and realized that it could only go on the right hand side, so I'm fabbing up some brackets so I can install it on the left hand side.

I would like to install some sliders (more for that look than anything else) I like the looks of the LSL but can't justify the cost right now, but I'm sure once I'm done with everything else I want to do (will that ever really happen?) I'll do it...
