Well the disease started

Some of you may remember I had my thruxton in the for sale section and finally found someone that wanted it and then i could not part with it. I love it that much. it is relly the first bike I can't get rid of. I only had tank pads and bar end mirrors installed but now that I'm going to keep it started ordering parts for it, not much yet just the bllacorse FEK and 4 turnsignals from British customs. thanks to all of the pictures and talk on this forum I found the FEk and turnsignals that I liked the best. Next will be an exhaust of some kind and a air box removal lit of some kind to pick up some sound and of course a little power as well. so with that sad do you guys feel a power package with Predators or the new 2 into 2 D&D plus airbox removal kit would be the best choice. has anyone dynoed with the new D&D yet?

i know what you mean. i've been toying getting rid of my 2007 thrux, but cant do it. just love that bike. just sent my cams off for some hotter ones from carlos at TPUSA and FCR carbs. when i got the bike 2 years ago i had no intention of doing any mods and have the bug. i cant part with her!

well unless something goes wrong with my motor I will stay away from motor work and be happy with the few hp I pick up from the exhaust and air box kit. then I want to do some suspension upgrades and maybe a set of lighter wheels.

Suspension and exhaust upgrades are kinda a must . Just about everything else is just bling.

It never ends .We all say I will only do this or that lol.Suspension upgrades help alot but more motor transforms these bikes way more .One thing about these bikes you can make them the way you want them.

Yup suspension next season for sure, but to me no need to spend money for 80 hp when I have a 200 hp bike next to it. So days I want to ride something fast i will take that. Days I want the feeling of the Thruxton I will ride that which is actually more and more lately.

Agreed 100% this is one of the things that has drawn me to my Thruxton. And too have said I wasn't going to touch the engine (yea right) but now that's I've got the suspension just about completely finished (F3 up from, KYB out back, Fork Brace, Steering Stabilzer) I might have to do some light engine mods next year. My other thought is just buying an engine out of a wrecked bike, and doing a complete monster and then sticking it in
