pics of Tomaselli clip-ons are at the album labeled Tomaselli. With the bars in a relatively high position as in the pictures- feels like I am sitting on a 73 KZ900 or similar. Rode for 5-6 miles and the bars are very comfortable in this position. From the photos you can see there is room to raise the bars even higher on the fork tubes (1.5 " ) and you could swing the mount even farther back bringing the bars closer to the rider. You could also angle them back more. Very happy with the results and at only 101.00 a bargain too. JCW

The lines and cables all fit fine. The limiting ones being the throttle cables. They are still routed along the factory position and I have not invetigated an alternative route for them to follow, although at the level the bars are at now there is no need to reroute. Bought the bars on ebay- I have been looking for alternatives for a year. These have the adjustability of the Heli bars (with the F3 forks allowing them to be raised more) and would also work in the stock position for someone who likes that, but wants a little (or alot) less angle on the bars. Available form cosmotor for $149.50. Also available from UK firm motormeccaspares for $125 not including shipping; go to $ in basket currency, then search "tommaselli". Also available from thunderbike for $290 including freight.!!!!

Anybody know what the lengh is on the stock clip-ons?

Also i noticed that our stock clipons are not just friction mounted. There is a screw underneath that connects them to the underside of the triple tree.

My questions is if i were to purchase these tommaselli's will i have enough room on my shock to mount them above the triple tree. (T-Up i know you have an F3 shock set up so you have plenty of room )

Correct me if I'm wrong but if i mounted it below is there any difference in the bar height at all? looks about the same.

And on a side note T-up why did you change the position of your Rizoma's with the tommaselli's?

Yes, they do look nice. In the high position, they appear to be generally similar to the Heli-bars, though it's had to say for sure from a photo.

The tomasellis are the same lenght as the stock bar (but I did not measure lenght and I'm away from bike now).

To mount the tomaselli's on top of the triple tree you will have to lower the forks enough to give you the length needed to mount. I have lowered my forks 1.4 inches - (keep in mind the rear shocks are (.8") lower and the F3 forks are 1.3" longer. If you mount the tomasellis under the triple clamp you can raise the bars up to any angle as well as pivot the mount back towards the rider moving the bars closer to the rider. But the actual bar height at the point of contact with the fork tube is the same. The angle or end of the bar is infinitely adjustable up or down. Where I get the height increase at the point of contact with the fork tubes is with the very long F3 forks and I have the mount on top of the triple clamp allowing position changes.

You could also increase the reward angle of the bars till the point of nearly hitting the tank if you wanted. The thing with these bars is any angle or placement is possible until the bars hit another part of the bike.

The position of the Rizomas has not been alted other than angle for best vision. If you are refering to the mirrors being outbound rather than inbound - I did that sometime back for better visability.
