Hey dialysis

By any chance do you have a shot from the Top?

As far as i can tell The FEK is an Angled bracket for the Plate and 2 little brackets for the Blinkers. Both of these i could make with my eyes closed.

I have checked the cost of the other items included and it comes to a total of about $50

Black Plate holder with Red LED light $14
LP Blinkers $15 per set x2 $30
Bolts and Wire $5
Fabbing the Plate Bracket $Priceless

Man I have no problem with paying for R&D and Labor but $200 for the FEK is quite a mark-up.

I built my own using 1/8" aluminum - fabricated the bracket out of an old license as a mock-up - then took those demensions and transferred to the aluminum. Cut carefully with hack-saw - smoothed and straightened edges with an english file. Bending to corrrect angle with wooden blocks of 2 x 4 and hammer. Sanded smooth with 400 grit wet n dry paper. drilled mounting holes for taillight and license plate. Used a billet aluminum LED taillight in an oval shape that fit perfectly in the rounded shape of the frame under the seat. Decided I wanted more brake lights and added the license frame with 2 led brake lights. Finished off seat mounting with 2 thumbscrews (for the sidecovers). JCW

Any reason you didnt mount the Blinkers on the Shock's.

Also where did you find the Plate holder with the LED's on the top and bottom? I have found one for $14 in black with just a row on the bottom (dosn't seem like enough) and another for $24 that has the LED's on all four sides (I like more lights but I thnk that may be crossing into Bling and out of Cafe')

Thanks

License frame and lights - backoff - cycledynamics carries them they are billet aluminum and then chromed - I believe black is also available. Billet brake light is also from cycledynamics. I would try on ebay too for the license/frame lights. JCW
