Some refer to me as a pro... others claim I'm a schmoe, so take this with a gain of salt: 5-10% increase in HP and torque is very common with the air box eliminated. More with a hot exhaust system. The billet manifolds is another matter altogether. Lots of debate about those. Personally, I think having to hack-up your side covers is reason enough to say Nah.
I think you would be hard pressed to find anyone who claimed little or no increase in seat-of-the-pants performance with the air box gone and stock manifolds.
