Description:
|
This is the last year that Triumph had real off-road capability in mind for the Tiger as is evident from the spoke wheels. Bike is very orange and includes Triumph factory hard bags, GIVI top case, center stand, Bagster tank cover and tank bag, factory heated grips, Touratech radiator and oil cooler covers, taller factory windscreen, spare inner-tube (see bag on front fender), new battery, and is wired for two electric vests. Service manual included.
Bike is great for long trips, two-up riding, and does fine is the dirt (with the right tires). Valve clearances were checked at 12k (per manual). The bike has about 15.5k miles. Tires are dirt biased TKC-80s. Tires have 500 - 1000 miles left. As tires for this bike are a personal preference (depending on level of dirt riding) I don’t plan on replacing them, but have adjusted my asking price to reflect their condition. Rear brake rotor may also need to be turned or replaced.
Bike has been low-sided twice (once on each side so at least it matches). First owner did one side, I did the other. Tank is plastic and was rashed, as was the front fender, fairing, and the pipe. Bagster cover was used to “fix” the first owners tank rash, but the cover was rashed when I low-sided (but not too bad). Aerostich side panniers cover the Bagster cover damage well (but are not included). Side bags were not on the bike either time.
I have the title in hand, serious inquiries only. Contact clydewatsonATbellsouthDOTnet for more pics or info.
