Description: Here is a 2006 Triumph Sprint ST that is in very nice condition. If you are looking for one of these bikes, then this one may get your attention. It is Sunset Red which is a beautiful deep red mettallic. The bike comes with the matching hard cases and bracketry which are still in the Triumph factory box. (never opened or installed). If you know this bike then you know how great a bike they made this year.(improved over the '05) All the great sport stuff like single sided swingarm, underseat exhaust, 126Hp etc. The only place I thought they "skipped" was the front suspension and brakes. If you are accustomed to "sport" riding then this bike with stock suspension is squishy. If Triumph considers it "sport" touring, why no inverted forks and radial brakes ?? Who knows, but I took care of that on this bike.. I have a long history of building bikes and so replacing the front end was a breeze for me. The front end comes off an '06 GSXR 1000, and has completely adjustable inverted titanium nitride forks with the radial Tokico 4 pot calipers. Wheel and rotors are OEM Triumph, front fender is GSXR. I cant even begin to explain how this transformed the bike. It went from a pogo stick to an actual sport bike. Sure the ST handles fine for touring, but try cornering under load or speed and see what happens.. forget it, the bike needs a suspension overhaul to be considered "sport" Part of this mod was changing from ball bearings in the head to taper roller bearings for better performance and longer lifetime.. Then a custom top triple clamp was affixed along with Rizoma bar risers, and Suburban machinery handlebars. Also, the factory never included a rear hugger with this bike, so you end up slopping road grime all over the rear suspension....not good... so I bought a rear hugger and chain guard. Also the rear fender is silly looking for such a beautiful bike, so off it went and a nice LED rar fender eliminator went on. One other gripe from riders was that the factory screen puts airflow right in your chinbar..way to go Triumph ! I added a Zero Gravity tinted bubble windshield, and now it pops the wind up over the helmet.. very nice..

The power of the triple is awesome.. It is a great mix of the grunt of a twin like a Ducati, and the powerband of a 4cyl Japanese bike.. in essence you get the best of both worlds. It is extremely comfortable and the transmission is buttery smooth on this bike. Power is very linear and it pulls from low rpm all the way up smoothly and steady.

I bought this brand new, and I am the original owner. I have the title in hand. The bike had some minor scratches in the lower fairing that was professionally touched up, and they are barely visible as you can or can not see on the left lower fairing. The bike has never been down nor seen the rain, and gets parked in a climate controlled garage. It had one service and 2 oil changes and everything works perfectly. Rubber is nearly brand new.. I have all records, and books, manuals etc.

I have 4 bikes and its time for one to go.

Original parts are not included in price, but I have them all and they are negotiable in the deal if you want them.
