2004 TRIUMPH SPEED TRIPLE - SE
I have my eye on the new Triumph Scrambler so unfortunately I have to let my beloved Speed Triple go. This bike has been absolutely flawless since I bought it new in 04. It is a rare model only offered for one year with its all black frame & wheels. I think this body style is much nicer looking than the 05 & up. Its nice having a fatter tail section with a decent storage compartment. This bike has been babied since day one & has been ridden nearly everyday since new, therefore it has 31k /- trouble/crash free miles on it & it still operates like new. Its been dealer maintained by the book & has all of its service records signed & stamped by the dealer. This bike has never been raced, stunted or abused. I have never felt the need for more power or agility, this bike has the perfect balance of performance and comfort. I've spent over 13 hours on the seat of this bike at times & still got up to ride it with no discomfort the next day. You will love it!
This bike has many extras such as the flyscreen, carbon tank protector, high carbon pipe (Triumph), integrated rear turn signals, undertail panel, smoked front signals, aftermarket headlights & a seat cowl.
Standard items are the 955i 3 cylinder motor, digital EFI, electronic automatic choke, six speed transmission, giant dual rotors up front, single rear, digital speedo, analog tach, single sided swingarm, fully adjustable suspension, reprogrammable ECU (from factory).
Another big bonus is that it's just had its 30k service and had a brand new Bridgestone Battlax installed on the rear. The front is the new dual compound Battlax with about 1500 miles on it. These tires are excellent for sport touring which is what I've used this bike for mainly. I have yet to see a nicer looking naked bike. I am sad to sell it but I have to if I want a new bike.
The paint has no cracks or dings but does have swirls & light scratches from regular cleaning & wiping down. Behind both the front and rear seats are some wear marks in the paint that I think could buff out with no problem.
I'll include the stock signals & pipe too.
I assure you that the buyer of this bike will be more than satisfied to have a unique bike that is astoundingly reliable, powerful & fun. Ride safe!
