bonnie forks

How much and what grade oil goes into 1968 bonnie front forks,(the forks have a conical hub so I'm thinking they are bonnie or tr6)

68 is not conical, so you have a mix-n-match.

Triumph first used the conical hub in 1971 I believe. I don't knwo if the conical will fit in the earlier forks so you might have the later forks also. A picture of the forks would help clarify. I think the 1970 and earlier had steel lowers with acccordian gators, I think the 71 switched to aluminim lowers with dust wipers like the Jap bikes.
